Bad weather days can slow down progress on the construction site and thus can potentially very costing. WeatherEye gives you access which would otherwise be absent. This means management can respect delays and/or can justify them, also meaning considerable savings: financially and human resourcefully.

ALLOWS MANAGERS, CAPTAINS AND OPERATORS TO HAVE A REAL-TIME WEATHER STATUS, ENABLING THEM QUICKER AND BETTER DECISION MAKING.

The WeatherEye system is the only platform that can can display this type of data in real time. The ability to manage bad weather days are therefore unmatched. The portal access to the data can be accessed by a project developer or manager anywhere on the planet 24/7. In specific situations, strong winds can be an a risk factor for the workers. The WeatherEye system supports you in these situations and ultimately gives you access to precise and relevant information thus making it an additional safety feature on the work site.

Bad Weather Day Reports and Alerts

• Proof ships and cranes operate within prescribed and insured limits;

• Justify delayed operations when bad weather is expected on precise site;

• Produce formal evidence to justify delay;

• Report history of temperatures and winds throughout the project.

Product installation

The Wind NCBS sensor is installed on top of superstructures. Being wireless and autonomous, it measures wind flow, direction and temperature. The data is then relayed to a control module (TS-500) which displays it to the operator(s). Wind data is stored locally on the TS-500 computer which then transmits to a remote online database through our secured portal.

Remote transmission is done via GSM/Cellular, WiFi, Ethernet, Radio Wave (RF and AIS/VHF), BlueTooth or even satellite, as required by the system and the environment.

The web portal allows map visualization from each units position, the wind strength and direction as well as temperature. This allows any authorized user to access wind status on concerned sites. An increased control over management of operations. All data/information is exportable in several common formats for detailed or custom reports.

These reports can be used as justifying proofs over the loss of work time due to bad weather days.
